Here are three easy ways to incorporate #gratitude into your everyday life:
1. Start a gratitude journal. Making a commitment to writing down good things each day makes it more likely that we will notice good things as they happen. Just start with 3 things a day!
2. Practice gratitude rituals. Whether it’s every morning when you’re brushing your teeth, before you sit down for dinner, or when you get into bed for the night, get into the routine of pausing in gratitude! Set an alarm for yourself if you need the reminder!
3. Use visual reminders. Two obstacles to feeling more grateful are forgetfulness and a lack of awareness. Visual reminders can serve as cues to trigger thoughts of gratitude. The best visual reminders are other people, so surround yourself with people you love and it’ll be impossible to forget how grateful you are!
